Eucalyptus Saligna Tongue And Groove Flooring

Cypress Sawmill stocks Eucalyptus Saligna – a NZ grown hardwood which makes a premium flooring product. In hardness it is comparable to Jarrah and it has a warm reddish / brown colour. Our Saligna is first air dried and then kiln dried ensuring that any movement is kept to a minimum.

Cypress Sawmill recommends that in keeping with accepted trade practice that the flooring timber is filleted in the room it is to be layed for at least two weeks before installation to allow it to acclimatize.

Sizes available are:

• 100x15 T&G – finished size 83mmx10mm thick Overlay Flooring
  Random length ranges from 1.5m and upwards. This is an overlay flooring that can be glued and nailed to a suitable substrate
   
• 100x25 T&G – finished size 83mmx19mm thick. Random length ranges
  from 1.5m and upwards. This is suitable for laying over joists at 450mm centres
